The Diary Game: 11th May, 2026. Left Home Early, Quiet Day and Quiet Peaceful Day At Work.
Hello everyone, it’s Otidi here again. This is how my day went.
I left home early for work today. I didn’t do much at home, just handled the little things I needed to do and headed straight to the shop.
When I got there, I did my usual cleanup, settled down, and spent most of the time on my phone. My sister called, and we talked for a long time.
Later, a client came in. He needed an agreement form, so I typed it up for him and that was it.
Today was honestly one of those dry days. From morning till afternoon, nothing much was happening. Towards evening, another person came in, and that was also when my student, Destiny, showed up.
Most of my students resumed school this week, so they now come around in the afternoon, usually around 3 or 4 PM after classes.
After I finished the client’s work, Destiny and I talked for a bit. I was still on my phone most of the day, scrolling through Facebook and social media. Honestly, nothing really serious happened.
One good thing though, we had light throughout the day. That’s rare. The power stayed on until I closed the shop at night. We used the opportunity to have a session. Destiny practiced on Mavis Beacon for a while, then we moved to MS Word.
After some time, he started complaining about a headache and eye pain, so I told him to stop and rest. Later on, I saw him outside talking with my neighbors and was already fine. So yeah, the day wasn’t really packed with anything much. I closed the shop around 7 PM and took bike straight home.
When I got home, my aunt called me. I hadn’t visited her in a while, said she misses me and I should come see her. I went there and spent about 40 minutes to an hour there.
When I finally got home, an old friend I hadn’t spoken to in a long time reached out to me on Facebook. We exchanged numbers and talked for a while. After that, I slept off without even realizing it.
When I woke up hours later, I decided to document my day.
That was it. Nothing serious, just a quiet and dry day at the shop.
