The Diary Game: A Simple Saturday Filled With Small Adventures (25-04-2026)

Hello y'all, trust you good? My roommate loved a material I bought some days ago and wanted to get same for herself too so when we woke up today, we made plans of visiting the shop so she could buy the material though I tried describing the shop so she could just go herself but she kept feigning ignorance cos she wanted me to join her down there. I did my home chores and wanted stepping out as early as possible to the fabric store but we were reminded by our neighbor that there's statewide sanitation today and movement is restricted till 10am and that's when I remembered that it's the last Saturday of the month so we went back inside and waited till 10am before we went to the fabric store.

When we arrived the store, I took her to the section where that particular material is sold and she bought it and also bought some other sewing items. We returned home immediately after our purchase and I called my friend to know if she's done with my outfit so I could go for pickup but she didn't and even told me that she's sick of malaria and typhoid and has been on treatment for three days now. After the called, I ate my meal as I was very hungry at this point, I had refused to eat in the morning saying I didn't have space for soup and eba that morning instead I wished to eat spaghetti with fresh fish but as funds wasn't available to fix the meal, I went hungry till afternoon when I forced myself to eat the food.

In the mid afternoon, my roommate decided to make use of my face to train herself on grooming brows. At first, I declined because I didn't want her to spoil the shape of my brows and I didn't also want to have razor cut so I asked her to find someone else but she kept begging and telling me she's good at her job so I should just give her a try. I did and I liked it at the end and was so happy I gave her a try. She complained of craving for sauced kpomo and we took a walk to a spot where we could find sauced kpomo to buy and we both had a good time before returning home. For the first time in the week, we stepped out together and spent time outside the four walls of our room.

We returned home and picked our waste bin and thrashed it and when I returned, I took my bath and was ready to make my blog but a call came in and on seeing my caller's name, I was reminded I had a plan of going somewhere with my friend tonight but I didn't want to go and also didn't want to hurt her feelings so I ignored the call. She kept calling both through normal call and WhatsApp call, she even called my roommate to know if I was at home and why I wasn't taking her calls and my roommate was smart enough to cover for me. I later gave her a flimsy excuse for not showing up and begged for her forgiveness.

I began to loose my hair when I finished having that conversation with her, but before I did, I took a last selfie with the hair I currently have on before loosening the braids. The extent at which my hair is cutting is so heartbreaking because my plans for it is to grow long not cut so as the plan is going south, it got me upset but I still had to behave like all is alright.
