The Diary Game: A Happy Ending To House Hunting And Setting Up My New Apartment(23-01-2026)

Hi besties, it's your baby girl @queenlina. Let me take you on the process of setting up my newly rented apartment. Sorry that I kept you all in the dark when I was actually house hunting, the experience wasn't palatable and most times, I return to bed very angry about how my search for house turned out to be for that day. But yesterday, God showed up for me. I got a call from one of the House Agent I had engaged and when I went over, I like the house and made payment for it. I stepped out and bought a new broom which I used in sweeping the house.

When I finished sweeping, I cleaned the windows and washed the floor before retuning back to my former apartment to get some house items. I stayed till late afternoon before going back to my new apartment, this was to make sure that uoom my return, the floor had dried up. I placed my carpet and did other set up.

When I finished, I went to my landlord's home to get my house rent receipt before going back to my former place to do the final packing. When I got there, I noticed that there was light and was happy that the National Grid fall that we were informed about the previous day didn't last up to twenty four hours. I plugged my phone as it was low and got seated, waiting for my phone to charge a little before I called the driver who drive my loads to my new home.

I got to my new home and offloaded my items from the van, made payment to the driver and he left. I packed my items in and arranged them before I searched for what to eat. Luckily, I had some raw rice and a little groundnut oil and other ingredients so I made use of them to prepare my dinner.

When I finished eating, I took my bath before laying on my bed to think about my life. I was so convinced that I've taken the bold step to a positive life change because they say that "Greatness requires Sacrifice" and now, I've sacrificed my comfort zone so I hope and believe it will pay off. I snapped out of my thoughts and wrote my diary before going to bed. That's all for today, thanks for riding with me.
