This picture has a deep story. This looks only picture but it is a life of green fields in the village and green fields are the life of different animals and animals are the life of different people in the villages. So this is not only a picture, it has deep story.
Few days ago, I went to village. There morning was calm and air smelled of fresh soil. When I stepped more my eyes suddenly stopped in beautiful scene. A tubewell, from where cool, clear water was flowing with a strong and soothing sound. It caught my attention deeply. I stood there for a while, just watching the water fall into the small cemented tank. In that simple sight, I felt a strange peace. That was not only tubewell. It was life itself. The more I saw to it, I felt connected to village. Its people and their simple happiness.
In the shade of old big tree a tubewell stood like heart of the village. Steady, alive and full of purpose. Voice of rushing water fill with laughter and birds’ songs. The sunlight dance on water’s surface. It creating tiny stars that sparkled in the air. Everything felt alive, pure and fill with calm and love. I had never felt before.
Soon, a few farmers come there. They carried buckets and pipes, talking and smiling like they started their daily routine. When the turbine began to spin, a strong flow of water gushed out, clean and shining. It spread through the narrow channels, giving life to the green fields nearby. That water was not just water, it was reward of their hard work, the hope for their crops and reason their animals would eat that day.
On other side some children were playing near the tubewell. They laughing loudly, splashing water on one another. One child slipped into small pool and others laughing on him. Some boys jump in it for bathing 🧼They were enjoying cold freshness on warm sunny day. Their happiness remind me beautiful trith. That real happiness not need money. This is only heart full of life and few moment of freedom.
Near the tree, aged man was sitting silently. He was watching scene with a soft smile. His wrinkled face has peace and wisdom. He had probably seen this same scene a thousand times in his life. When he was child, he played here too, like those child. His eyes were calm and his lips moved slowly like praying and thanking Allah for another day of life.
After a while, a few women came with steel containers to fill water for their homes. Their bangles jingled like worked. And their laughter blended with the gentle sound of running water. They talked about their families, crops and weather. It felt like this small spot was not only for water, it was a place of togetherness, memories and everyday joy.
Birds sang from the nearby trees and a soft wind brushed my face. I closed my eyes , spread my arm to hugging air. I listened sound of water, laughter of children and rhythm of life. In that moment, I learned what is true peace. This peace is no found in luxury land modern life. This is found natural harmony of simple living.
When sun about to set, light turn into golden and water sparkled like melted gold. The children go back slowly, their clothes were wet. But their hearts were fully happy. The old man stood up, looked once more at the tubewell and smiled.
I also smiled because I knew that this was not just a picture or a scene. It was a reflection of life’s purest peace, the kind we only find in a village, close to nature and close to your soul.

Such a peaceful and heartfelt story!
You described the scene so beautifully that I could almost feel the fresh air, the sound of water, and the joy of village life.
As an artist, I can see this story as a living painting — full of light, harmony, and emotion.
It’s a wonderful reminder that real peace comes from simplicity and connection with nature.
Thank you for mentioning me, and I wish you the best in the contest.
