Assalam-O-Alaikum!

A heartfelt welcome to my blog dear guys. Today I am going participate in the contest organized by my dear @suboohi ma'am. Alhamdulillah I made nutritious black lentils with rice for this challenge. I hope you appreciate it. Let's start.


༻꧂1-Prepare recipe༻꧂

The Ingredients Required For This Recipe Is:

2Chicken As Taste
3Cabbage As Taste
4Capsicum As Taste
5Carrot As Taste
6Chilli Sauce Two Spoon
7Soya Sauce Two Spoon
8Black Pepper Powder Half Spoon
9Red Chilli Flakes One Spoon
10Salt One Spoon or As Taste

  • First of all I add amount of water in a pot. And put it on the stove to boil. When the water started to boil well. I put a tablespoon of ghee to it. To prevent the macaroni from sticking together. I added the macaroni to the water. And mixed it well with a spoon. Then I let the macaroni cook for a few minutes. When the macaroni is soft and well boiled. I drained it in a ringer. Finally I poured cold water over it to remove the excess starch. And my boiled macaroni was ready

  • In the second step I prepared all the necessary ingredients to make the macaroni. First of all I washed the used vegetables thoroughly. With clean water to completely remove the dust and dirt on them. After that I cut all the vegetables pieces. Chopping the vegetables into small pieces will cook them quickly. And also mix well with the macaroni. This is how all my vegetables are prepared

  • After that I washed the chicken well and cut it into small pieces. Then I put the chicken in a wok. And add a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of black pepper powder. After mixing all the spices well with the chicken. I let it marinate for about five minutes. There for the flavor of the spices gets absorbed into the chicken. After that I turned on the stove. Added ghee to the pan. And started frying the marinated chicken until golden.

  • I fried the chicken well for about five minutes. When the chicken turns light brown in color. I am sure it is cooked to perfection. After that I add previously chopped vegetables to the chicken. Then with the help of a spoon. Mix the vegetables and chicken well. So that all the ingredients are combined. I then reduced the heat to low. And let the chicken and vegetable mixture cook for about five minutes. During this time the vegetables softened. And their flavor blended well with the chicken.

  • When the chicken and vegetables were fried well. And smelled delicious. I added the pre boiled macaroni. After that I mixed all the ingredients well with a spoon. So that the macaroni chicken and vegetables were combined. Then I put a tablespoon of salt. A teaspoon of black pepper powder and a tablespoon of chili flakes. Mix all the spices well so that their flavor reaches every part of the macaroni. And the dish becomes more delicious.

  • I then added three tablespoons of soy sauce. And three tablespoons of chili sauce to the macaroni. Now I mixed all the ingredients and seasonings well. So the flavor of the sauces would be evenly incorporated into the macaroni chicken and vegetables. When everything was mixed well. I turned the heat down and let the macaroni cook for about ten to fifteen minutes. During this time all the flavors meld together. And the macaroni became more fragrant. After ten to fifteen minutes my delicious savory. And spicy macaroni is completely ready. Finally I took it out on a hot plate. And served it and everyone ate it with great enthusiasm.

༻꧂2. The Story Behind It༻꧂

I chose Chicken and Vegetable Macaroni for this competition. Because it is a dish that is the perfect combination of both taste and nutrition. Every body in my house love macaroni. So I always try to make their favorite dish as healthy as possible. For this purpose I added various fresh vegetables like carrot capsicum and cabbage to this macaroni. These vegetables contain good amount of vitamins minerals and fiber which are very beneficial for health. Also I added chicken to increase the protein content of the dish. And make it more nutritious for kids. I chose this recipe for the contest. Because it also fits the theme of "Eat The Rainbow". It includes vegetables of different colors that not only make the food look beautiful. But also provide various nutritional benefits. I always try to make healthy meals for my family. So that they stay away from fast food and unhealthy foods. I believe that if children are given a balanced. And nutritious diet from the beginning. Their physical and mental development improves. This is why I prefer to include healthy ingredients in my daily meals.

༻꧂3. Show Importance༻꧂

A healthy diet is very important for a person's good health and prosperous life. The food we consume daily affects our physical strength mental performance and overall health. If we eat a balanced diet. Our body gets all the nutrients it needs. Including proteins vitamins minerals carbohydrates fiber and healthy fats. All these components help the body perform various functions properly. A balanced diet strengthens the immune system. Protects against diseases and provides energy to the body. A healthy diet is especially important for children. As their physical and mental development depends on good nutrition. If children eat nutritious food. They are more active energetic and healthy. Similarly for adults a balanced diet reduces the risk of heart disease obesity and other health problems.

In my home I prepare many healthy meals. Including vegetable macaroni lentil rice vegetable soup chicken vegetable stir fry fresh salad fruit chaat grilled chicken and vegetable pulao. All these foods contain both nutrition and taste. I believe that if we include healthy ingredients in our daily diet. We can not only improve our health. But also live an active and happy life.
