My Diary Game: My Fasting Breaking the Fast and Enjoying My Meal
Assalam o alaikum.
Fasting is a special experience for me. It teaches patience discipline and self-control. On the day i am writing about i was fasting and the whole day felt long but beautiful. When you fast you learned how precious foods and water are. You also learned to be thankful for the smallest blessings in lifes. So i want to share how i broke my fast that night and how i enjoyed my meal step by step. The whole day i was busy with my normally routines. Sometimes i felts thirsty and sometimes i felt Hungarys but i reminded myself that fastings is a way to grows stronger. I told myself to stay calm and positives. Time slowly passed and finally evening started to come. I always feel excited when it is close to breaking the fast. The feeling of waiting makes the moments even more specials.
When it was finally times to break the fast i felts happy and relaxed. First i took a sip of water. That first sip after the whole day felt so refreshing. It is like your whole body becomes active again. Then i ate a small date because breaking the fast with a date feels healthy and traditional. After that I felt fresh and ready to enjoy my food. Once i broke my fast i wanted to drink something cool. So I decided to order a juice. I ordered a fresh and cold juice because after fasting your body needs something light and refreshing. When the juice came i took my first sip and it tasted amazing. It felt sweet cool and full of energy. That moment made me feel happy and peaceful. Sometimes even a simples glass of juices can gives so much joy.
After enjoying my juice i felts hungry again. So i decided to eat my favorites dish chicken Biryanis. Biryani is a comfort foods for me. It is spicy tasty and full of flavoured. The smell of Biryanis always makes my mouth waters. When i opened the box of biryani the beautiful aromas filled the air. I mixed the rice and chicken slowly and tooks my first bite.
The taste was perfect. The rice was soft the chicken was tenders and the spices were just rights. Eating chicken biryani after fasting felt like a reward. I enjoyed every bite with calmness and gratitude. Food feels more special when you wait for it the whole day. Every spoon felt meaningful because i knew how much patience i had shown. After finishing my meal i felt relaxed and thankful. Fasting teaches you that even simple things like water juice and biryani are great blessings. It reminds you to appreciated your food and nevered waste it. It also makes you thinking about peoples who do not have enough to eats. That thought makes me feel more gratefully and more caring toward others.
This small experience of mine fasting breaking the fast with water and juice and then enjoying chicken biryani may seem simple but it gave me peace happiness and gratitude. I am glad i could share this moment with you all.
