THE DIARY GAME : 8 Dec 2025: Going to University and Seeing a Poster About Corruption

Assalam o alaikum .

Every day we wake up get ready and leave our homes for study or work. We may think the day will go normally. But sometimes one small thing changes our thoughts or opens our eyes. This happened to me today. When i entered the university gate a large poster was hanging on the wall. The poster had bold words written: “Corruption Destroys Nations.” Beneath the words there was a pictures of a hand takings money secretly. I stopped for a moments and looked at it again and again.

That poster was simples but the message was very powerful. Corruption is not only a word; it is a disease that slowly spreads and harms our country. When i looked at that picture many questions came into my mind. Why does corruption happen? Why do people choose the wrong way? Why are talented people left behind while others rise through dishonesty? This poster reminded me that corruption is one of the biggest problems that stops a country from growing. When a student studies hard but someone with money or influence gets the opportunity instead that is corruption. When a patient needs treatment but the hospital demands bribe that is corruption. When someone is selected for a job not based on talent but on contacts that is corruption. Corruption hurts the dreams of young people like us. It breaks trust and creates injustice.

As a student i believe awareness is the first step to change. Posters like these are important because they are silent teachers. They remind us to think to question and to act differently. We may not be able to stop corruption completely in one day but we can start with ourselves. We can choose honesty. We can refuse wrongdoing. We can encourage others to follow rules and be fair. The poster also made me think about the future of Pakistan. We want a strong country a peaceful country a successful country. But this dream is only possible if we remove corruption from our system. We need leaders who are honest officers who are loyal teachers who are responsible and students who stand for truth.

I also thought about my field medical. I want to becomes a cardiologist in the futures. I have seen many stories where people suffer because corruption enters hospitals. Sometimes medicines are sold at high prices reports are delayed and treatment is only given to those who pay extra. This is very heartbreaking. Health is a right not a business. I wish that one day hospitals will treat every patient equally. After seeing the poster i felt motivated. I told myself that change begins with one person. If i am honest if i stand against wrong if i encourage my classmates to speak up then slowly society will change.

My day at university taught me a strong lesson through a simple poster. Corruption is dangerous and it affects everyone. But awareness honesty and courage can fight it. The poster did not just give information it gave hope hope for a clean fair and developing nation.

Thank you for readings my post. I hoped we all join hands to say NO to corruption and builds a better future.
