A Rainy Day Full of Joy

Yesterday was very special day for me. Weather changed suddenly and everything felt different. In our area, there was very heavy rain. Dark clouds covered to sky. Wind was also strong. It looked like something exciting is coming.
After some time, rain started. First it was slow. Then it became very fast. Water was falling everywhere. Roads became wet. Trees were moving with wind. I was standing outside and watching all this. It was looking so beautiful. Then something more interesting happened. Hail started falling. Small pieces of ice were coming from the sky. We call them olay. I was really surprised. I don’t see this every day. It felt like a different kind of rain.
Those small ice balls were hitting ground and making sound. Tik tik sound everywhere. It was fun to watch. I went closer and pick one from floor. It was very cold. My hand felt little freezing for moment but I still enjoyed it. Children from street also came outside. Everyone was laughing and shouting. Some were trying to catch the hail in their hands. Some were just enjoying this rain. It was like small festival. No one cared about getting wet.
I also got little wet but I did not mind. Sometimes we should enjoy these small moments. Life is already busy and full of tension. Days like this give peace to heart. Weather became very cool. Fresh air was everywhere. Smell of wet soil was amazing. It gave very calm feeling. I stood there for long time only watching rain and hail together. My family was also enjoying from inside. We all were talking and smiling. It was simple moment but very happy. No phones, no stress only nature and peace.
