A Stressful Day But a Happy Ending

Today I want to share about my day. Last few days were not easy for me. From almost three to four day my health was not feeling normal. I was feeling weakness and little discomfort in my eyes. I also headache badly. Sometimes my eyes felt heavy and sometimes I felt little blur while looking at things. Because of this I became worried. I was thinking too much in my mind. Eyes are very important and small problem make person scared.

In morning I woke up and still was not feeling fully okay. Then I decided that today I should visit an eye doctor for proper checkup. I did not want to ignore this more. After getting ready I left home and went to clinic. When I reached there many people were already waiting. Some old people were sitting quietly and some children were there with parents. First I went to reception and took my slip. After that I sat on chair and waited for my turn. Waiting time felt long because my mind was full of tension. I was thinking again and again What if my eyesight became weak? These thoughts were making me nervous.

Finally my turn came and I entered to doctor room. The doctor was a calm and kind man. He asked me about my problem. I explained everything honestly. Then he started checking my eyes with different machines and lights. He asked me to read letters and also checked my eyesight carefully.
During this checkup I was little scared from inside. I was praying quietly in my heart that everything should be okay. Sometimes when doctor stays silent during checkup, patient become more nervous. Same thing was happening with me.

After checking my eyes properly doctor smiled and said that my eyes are completely fine and there is no serious problem. Hearing these words gave me so much peace. Really my heart became light at that moment. I felt so relaxed. Last few days I was carrying fear inside my mind and finally that fear became less.
Doctor then told me this issue is related to some other health problem like weakness, stress and flue. He suggested me to visit another doctor for further checkup. I thanked him for checking me carefully.

When I came outside from clinic I felt much better mentally. Sometimes tension itself make health feel worse. I thanked Allah many times because eyesight is very big blessing. We use our eyes every day and mostly we do not realize how important they are until we feel some problem.
While coming back home weather also felt more beautiful to me. My mood became fresh again. I reached home and told my family that doctor said my eyes are okay. Everyone became happy and relaxed after hearing this.

Today was not very exciting day but it taught me something important. We should never ignore our health problems. Small checkups can save us from big stress and fear. Also we should always thank Allah for blessings like healthy eyes and good health. Now I am feeling more positive and peaceful. I hope after some rest and care, everything will become normal again. This day start with stress but end with relief and happiness. I am truly thankful to Allah for everything. 😊
