The Diary Game: How I Managed Cooking, Work And Difficult Customers(13/05/2026)

Greetings everyone, I am Emmanuel known as @smithbillz here on Steemit. Today, I was in charge of cooking for the boys and in order to still meet up early at work, I woke up early to cook. We normally use firewood to cook and the process is stressful a bit for me who is not used to it as I normally use gas in my parents use but coming here, I have had to adapt to so many things.

We contributed money and bought rice with some ingredients to cook and I was able to finish cooking before time and scooped the food and ate with my my coworkers and after that, I took my bath and went to work with the rest of the boys. We had to yet again wait for the boss to come and unlock the shop before we gained entrance into it and began our duties.

We divided the chores among the three of us so we could finish setting up the shop for business fast. I did the sweeping in the shop today while someone else handled the mopping part and the other was responsible for cleaning and arranging the tables and chairs. When I finished, I took the musical equipments out and positioned them in their spot, washed the beer glasses before playing music and business started.

Today, I didn't have any moment of rest as I've been up and attending to customers. I liked the way business moved today and wished it were like this every day. A customer almost provoked me today but because we have been warned to be polite with customers no matter the issue, I had to remain calm in the midst of everything. He ordered three bottles of beer and wanted to keep his phone as collactarel but I refused.

After so much attempt to convince me that he left his ATM card at home, he ended up bringing it out and we found out that the card had expired and needed to be renewed. My boss got involved and he ended up paying but it was borrowed from his friend whom he called. We closed in the evening and I got home and sipped garri with groundnut as it is now my favorite food. I'm happy to be here and I look forward to having a great experience.
