**One friend betrayed in friendship, another friend's forgiveness.**
Hello my friends,
One friend betrayed in friendship, another friend's forgiveness.
Today was the last Saturday of the month, a very special day for the four friends: Michael, Ramesh, Bitta, and Shahbaz. Their friendship was well-known throughout the community because they all came from different backgrounds.
They eagerly awaited this day all month, as they would spend the entire last Saturday together, drinking beer and liquor, enjoying delicious food, and playing cards.
This wasn't just any ordinary card game; they also exchanged money within certain limits. They had named this card game "Friendship," and it was a kind of 21-card rummy game, with rules they had devised themselves.
Today, as usual, all four arrived at Bitta's house at the appointed time. This gathering took place at one of their houses each month, a schedule they had pre-arranged.
After everyone arrived, the host neatly arranged beer, whiskey, soda, and many other food items on the dining table. Two new decks of cards were also placed on the table. They exchanged some lighthearted conversation, and the eating and drinking began. After about an hour, the card game started.
The room filled with cigarette smoke, the aroma of liquor, and the smell of food. No one else was allowed to enter the room.
Game after game was played. Michael usually won, but today, luck seemed to be especially on his side. After two or three hours, Shahbaz quit the game out of frustration because he had lost all his money.
For some reason, Shahbaz often suspected that Michael was using some kind of trick in the game, but because of their long-standing friendship, he had never mentioned it to his other two friends. But today, having lost all his money, he was sitting idle and began to observe Michael's every move closely.
Initially, he couldn't understand anything, but after paying close attention, he noticed that Michael repeatedly moved one hand under the table during the game. However,
Shahbaz still couldn't figure out what he was doing with that hand. The game lasted about four hours that day, and then they all went home. But a seed of suspicion had been planted in Shahbaz's mind, and he resolved to uncover the truth the following month.
Exactly one month later, the event was scheduled to take place at Shahbaz's house on the last Saturday of the month. Therefore, Shahbaz installed a hidden camera at Michael's seat. This camera could record for 5-6 hours.
After the game that day, Shahbaz connected the camera to his mobile phone and watched the recording. He saw that Michael was secretly exchanging cards by reaching into his pants pocket. After each round, he would take the cards out of the deck and put them back in his pocket.
However, even after catching Michael cheating, Shahbaz didn't say anything to his two other friends. But one day, he invited Michael over to his house and showed him the video. Michael was very embarrassed. He swore he would never do it again and begged Shahbaz for forgiveness.
And in this way, the friendship between all the friends remained intact, and their game continued honestly thereafter.

Thanks a lot.
¡Saludos amigo!🤗
The lure of making money gives rise to deception, but the fear of losing an old friendship motivated him to forgive his friend.Everyone deserves another chance.
My dear friend, @elsa-queen
I am so happy that you read my story and left such a wonderful comment in your Urdu language. Although I can't read Urdu myself, thankfully, modern technology and translation tools have made our world so much easier. Your sentiments are admirable, and your dedication to Steemit is excellent.
May God always grant you success.
Wow! this story is very touchy, what Michael did was very wrong and he was happy to see Shahbaz losing all his money without feeling sorry for him this is an act of selfishness but I loved what Shahbaz did, this shows that he is a good and faithful friend even when hurt or betrayed.
My dear friend,
As I wrote, they were all old friends, and where do old friendships last these days? Shahbaz was a big-hearted person. He thought that if he made this betrayal public, the friendship among the four friends would end forever. That's why he made this decision thoughtfully and also taught his friend Michael a lesson.
Best wishes
Thank you
Greetings sir! You shared a very interesting and instructive story. The friendship, trust and patience of four friends are described in a very simple and beautiful way. Shahbaz preferred friendship despite knowing the truth. This is truly commendable. In the end the victory of honesty and the persistence of friendship makes the story even more beautiful. It is very well written. I enjoyed reading it. I also got a good message.
I really liked your comment. I've never met you, but from what I've learned about you through this platform, you seem like a very beautiful and intelligent girl. Your intelligence shines through in your words. You also pay great attention to your word choice and writing style. I've written countless short stories in my life, probably around 1500, so real-life experiences have taught me how to craft story characters. Our stories are always a true reflection of society; we just have to twist them to suit our purpose.
सादी जी सदा खुश रहो
