The post is about A grand Iftar Mahfil was held at the initiative of the Political Science Department of Government Titumir College so let's start........
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, a sincere, cordial and joyful Iftar Mahfil was organized by the Department of Political Science of Government Titumir College. The entire event turned into a gathering with the spontaneous participation of the teachers, students, alumni and invited guests of the department.

The month of Ramadan brings lessons of self-purification, restraint, sacrifice and brotherhood for the Muslim Ummah. Keeping this great ideal in mind, the Department of Political Science, like every year, has organized an initiative to have Iftar together. Since the afternoon, the students of the department have been busy preparing as volunteers. Collecting Iftar items, preparing packets, determining seating arrangements, arranging water, and welcoming guests were all done smoothly.
When the teachers and students gathered a little before the scheduled time, a warm and sincere atmosphere was created in the entire environment. Many became emotional after getting the opportunity to sit together after a long time. A short discussion and prayer Mahfil were held before Iftar. In this, respected teachers of the department spoke about the significance and lessons of Ramadan.
The speakers said that Ramadan does not only teach us to endure the suffering of hunger and thirst; rather, it teaches us self-control, morality and the practice of humanity. As a political science student, moral strength and human values are very important to play a positive role in building society and the state. They also said that such joint arrangements strengthen the relationship between teachers and students and consolidate the unity of the department.

With the sound of the call to prayer, everyone broke their fast together. The iftar arrangement was full of dates, fruits, chickpeas, peas, purple beans and various delicious foods. The message of brotherhood and harmony inherent in sitting together and breaking the fast deeply touched the hearts of everyone present. After the iftar, everyone prayed the Maghrib prayer together. After the prayer, the students had lively discussions, reminisced and discussed future plans. Former students also shared their experiences and gave guidance to the current students.
The entire event was marked by discipline, beauty and sincerity. The event was successfully completed with the spontaneous participation and cooperation of the students. All those present thanked the organizers for such a beautiful arrangement and expressed their hope to organize such events regularly in the future.
This Iftar Mahfil of the Department of Political Science was not just a formal event; rather, it was a shining example of mutual love, unity, harmony and brotherhood. Such initiatives will further strengthen the tradition and bond of the department in the future. This is the expectation of all concerned.
