🏵️Study Techniques🏵️

Education is one of the most important foundations of human life. A student's success does not only depend on his talent; it also depends to a large extent on his study strategies, time management, self-control, mental toughness and proper use of technology. In the present era, sources of information and knowledge have become much more accessible to students than before. However, at the same time, new challenges have also emerged such as attention deficit, anxiety, depression, social media addiction and time wasting.

As a student, I constantly follow different study strategies, which help me to focus on studies, understand subjects deeply and achieve good results. This report details the study strategies I use, the main obstacles in my academic life, an effective good habit, the use of digital learning tools and some important tips for students suffering from anxiety and depression.

What study technique do you often use, and how effective is it?

Each student's learning style may be different. I follow a few specific strategies in my academic life, which have proven to be very effective for me.

Making notes in my own language

1000113027.jpg

I listen carefully to the teacher's discussion in class and write down important points in a notebook. Later, when I come home, I rewrite those notes in my own language. This helps me understand the topics more clearly.

Making a schedule and studying

1000114373.jpg

I create a reading routine for each day. I plan in advance when to read a topic, how long to read it, and when to take a break.

Regular repetition

After learning something new, I reread it within a few days. Because once I read it, there is a possibility of forgetting a lot of information.

Practice and solving questions

Just reading books is not enough. So I solve various creative questions, board questions, and sample questions.

Group discstudying

I often discuss the topics I read with friends. This helps me get to know different perspectives and makes difficult topics easier to understand.

What is the biggest distraction that affects your studies, and how do you control it?

Like most students these days, my biggest problem is the excessive use of mobile phones and social media.

Many times, a long time is wasted unknowingly while using Facebook, YouTube, Instagram or other apps. As a result, the continuity of studies is disrupted and attention is reduced.

Steps I take to overcome this problem

1000114492.jpg1000114493.jpg

Keeping mobile away
I keep mobile phones out of reach while studying. This reduces the tendency to use the phone unnecessarily.

Turning off notifications
I turn off social media notifications while studying. As a result, attention is not disturbed.

Creating a suitable environment for studying
I try to study in a quiet and calm environment, where there is less chance of losing attention.

Through these strategies, I have been able to gain a lot of self-control and the quality of my studies has improved.

What is one good habit that helps you improve your academic performance?

My most important good habit is to study at a specific time every day.

1000114378.jpg

Many students start studying only before exams. But I try to read a little bit every day. As a result, no topic accumulates and the learning process is continuous.

As a result of this habit
Interest in reading increases.
No extra pressure is created before exams.
Confidence increases.
Memory improves.
Mental stress decreases.

1000114374.jpg

The most important thing is that the habit of regular study is helping me to develop into a responsible and disciplined person.

Explain any digital tools, apps, or resources that you commonly use for study?

1000114376.jpg

1000114377.jpg

Due to the development of technology, numerous digital tools have become easily available for students. I regularly use some digital tools which are playing an important role in my educational life.

Different types of book apps.

1000114366.jpg1000114367.jpg
1000114368.jpg1000114369.jpg

Nowadays, different types of books are available through apps. Due to which we can read them even while traveling in the bus. These increase our reading comprehension and increase our interest in reading. Thanks to the use of technology, we can read through this book anywhere.

Google Drive

1000114370.png

I save important notes, class lectures and necessary documents on Google Drive.

Its advantages—
Files can be used from anywhere.
Information is safe.
The risk of losing files is reduced.
Can be easily shared with others.

YouTube

Many complex topics are easier to learn through videos. So I use YouTube to watch educational videos.

What advice would you give to students who struggle with anxiety and depression during their studies?

1000114375.jpg

Currently, many students suffer from anxiety and depression due to academic pressure, family problems, worries about the future, or social pressure. To deal with such situations, I would like to give the following suggestions.

1.Set realistic goals.
Instead of trying to achieve a lot at once, set small goals. This will make the work seem easier and increase confidence.

2.Ensure adequate sleep.
You should sleep at least 7-8 hours every day. Adequate sleep keeps the mind fresh and increases the ability to learn.

3.Exercise regularly.
Physical exercise is very effective in reducing stress. Walking or light exercise for some time every day keeps the mind healthy.

4.Spend time with positive people.
Spending time with friends, family, and teachers reduces stress a lot.

5.Do not compare yourself with others.
Every person has a different learning speed and ability. Therefore, you should focus on your own improvement instead of comparing yourself with others.

6.Don't hesitate to ask for help if needed
If you are under a lot of stress or depression, you should seek help from a teacher, guardian or counselor.

7.Take breaks between studies
Studying continuously for a long time makes the mind tired. Therefore, it is important to take short breaks at regular intervals.

1000045177.png

Proper study techniques, regular practice, good habits and proper use of modern technology are very important for a successful academic life. Along with this, maintaining mental health is equally necessary. If a student studies in a planned manner, understands the value of time and takes care of his mental and physical health, then he will definitely be able to achieve his desired goals. I believe that continuous effort, self-control and a positive attitude can take a student to the highest level of success.
