Contest: My Favourite Animal | Week 8

My favourite animals are cats, the reason behind is that this is the first animal I met since I was a child. To tell the truth we did not have cats when I was very little but our neighbours and while playing in garden cat of our neighbour on and off visited our garden. When I saw a cat first time I was fascinated how cute they were looking just like my toys with such fur and it was so soft on striking. That is why I always played with it in garden.
Like I mentioned before, when I was a child cat was my first best friend, who I could play with in garden, it was always following me. I also loved to see how the cat was playing with a yarn ball that my grandmother was using for knitting. I think that time it was me and a cat both sitting and trying to compete catching the yarn ball and I believe my grandmother also had fun watching us.
I remember very well that one day I was not able to find my friend cat, it did not come to visit me and my grandmother just reassured me saying that it will come maybe next day or another. She was right just few days later I saw a cat, that was going into our garden shed without paying any attention to me, I was very surprised and just followed it. When I entered shed I first could not see it and while calling I heard the sound in a box. I then looked into the box and was stunned seeing that there were three little kittens. I actually thought that it is a male cat but it was a female cat and of course, maybe because it was expecting the kittens it went away and decided to choose my shed. My grandmother said a cat maybe thought that it is a safest place for its babies. Without saying my mother anything I was secretly feeding kittens with milk and was very happy to have such big family. I remember when my mother found that she was angry and of course, she then took the cat and kittens and gave it to neighbour. Of course, I was upset that time but now I know that it was a right decision. Since then me and cats are good friends.
