Happy New Year!

 

It is the last day in December, I love this day! It is great to see how much happening all around. It is still normal working day but many people took their day off because of the preparation for the New Year party. That is why you need to make last shopping, especially some food, snacks and of course drinks.

I am also off today but me and my friends we went out to have some hot drink, to visit some shops as from today some shops starting their sales. Often it is despite of having discount the prices are still high. The good thing about today is that many people are friendly and polite. People everywhere wishing each other Happy New Year even if they do not know each other. That is another positive side of that day that one can easily start small talk.

There are some people who do not like this holiday because they are alone and it is bad to be alone on this day. If there is any possibility of visiting your grandparents or parents if they live somewhere away, then try to visit them. They will appreciate it.

We have holidays over Christmas and New Year so it is nice to have a small two weeks holidays. This is my little corner of some presents from Christmas and new Year, I have the tin that is made as a book with some cookies. We have this little candle house and also little self made figures of houses and little angel. This is the reminder for this year holiday for me.
