Playing Steemhop // Day 32

Hi, friends. I had a great time today playing SteemHop, The further I progress in the game, the more I realize that my rise to 7th place in the rankings is due to my consistency in making sure to play every 12 hours whenever my schedule allows. Another strategy I’ve used is making sure to claim my login points and hoping for a lucky spin on the roulette wheel to get a good score.

Maybe I can climb higher in the rankings once I become a better player, but honestly, rather than putting pressure on myself about that, I prefer to focus on staying consistent and continuing to improve my skills as a player as I gradually adapt to what it means to be a player with great talent and skill.

On my 32nd day of playing SteemHop, I received the usual 10 points for logging in, plus 55 points earned from spinning the wheel:

In this game, we can see that it’s possible to achieve a fairly high score, and even though the rounds are now 1 minute long, I was able to get this score of 69 points thanks to my skill at dodging obstacles while simultaneously collecting the coins I find along the way—since 6 points are added every time we collect a coin.

In this game, I also scored a respectable 59, but the picture makes it seem as though the white chicken fell into the water—or perhaps it was snatched by the black bird.

It’s very common that once we’ve scored well in a single game, we feel the pressure to keep moving forward with less and less time—which causes us, for example, as you can see in the image below, to fall into the water and—because we weren’t able to jump over one of the many wooden logs floating down the river—to land on one of them.

With 9,312 points this season, I’m ranked 7th on the overall leaderboard, with my highest single-game score being 87 points. Because of this ranking—and if I manage to maintain it for the rest of the season—I’ll earn 7 STEEM.
