A RANDOM EVENT MATCH
The match started like any other evening game — quick passes, a few early mistakes, and everyone still warming up. Playing with Lee Chen-Than and One Zero made the tempo different. Lee Chen-Than was calm on the ball, always finding space, while One Zero kept pressing and shouting instructions. Ten minutes in, the chance came. A loose ball bounced near the box, first touch was messy but the second one was clean. Hit it low and it went in. Didn’t even believe it at first, just stood there for a second before the boys ran over.
After the goal the energy shifted. The other team pushed harder, and the game got rough. Tackles were flying, voices were louder, and everyone was chasing every ball like it was the last minute. Lee Chen-Than kept linking play in midfield, dropping deep to collect and spray passes. One Zero didn’t stop running — cutting off passes, covering ground, even tracking back to help defense. We missed a few chances to make it two, but defending together kept us in it. Sweat, shouts, and that feeling when your legs are heavy but you still want one more attack.
By the time the final whistle went, legs were done and shirts were soaked. Standing on the pitch for a few minutes after, just catching breath and replaying that goal in the head. Ten minutes in and it decided the whole match. Lee Chen-Than gave a nod like “nice one,” One Zero came to tap chest. Not a perfect game, but that one moment made all the running worth it. Walking off the pitch, tired but buzzing — that’s the part you remember later.
