As I promised in my previous post, I conducted a little experiment today to see if it’s possible to get a negative score in STEEMHOP. As soon as the game started, instead of moving forward, I intentionally made my character move backward by pressing the down arrow button. It was a strange sight to see my little pig retreating! When my score hit -3, a hungry eagle suddenly swooped down and caught my pig, ending the game immediately. It seems the game doesn't tolerate backward progress for very long.

I quickly opened my Points Report to confirm the damage. As it turns out, obtaining a negative score is indeed possible, and it actually subtracts from our total! While I was satisfied to have solved the mystery, I felt a bit of "scientific regret" seeing my hard-earned total points drop. It was a bit sad to realize that my curiosity might have cost me a few spots in the ranking, but at least now we all know the truth about minus scores. Note to self: Always move forward.

I earned 55 points from Spin Wheel. It may be repeated day after day again. I may become sad when I am 55 years old. lol

My current rank is 15th. Actually, when I first logged into the STEEMHOP site today, I had dropped to 17th. I had to play several rounds just to climb back up to 15th. The player in 14th place is currently about 1,500 points ahead of me. I’m not entirely sure if I can overtake them soon, as it all depends on my schedule. If I have to stay late for overtime work tomorrow, it will be a tough battle.
