"The helping hands by @akareen
I am very interested in participating in this contest organized by @drhira, where the participants are to narrate how they are helping each other.
I remember the day I helped my friend who was so sick by taking him to the nearest pharmacy to receive quality healthcare services. I was outside when his call rang on my phone. I received his call and noticed that he was not feeling well. As a human being, I also considered his feelings because I pity his condition when I see him. I could not believe that he fell sick because he was the kind of person I always saw as having a strong body.
He asked me if I knew any place where he could receive treatment. I noticed that there was one nurse in my area who is qualified in attending to patients with different kinds of illnesses, although the woman works in a private hospital. I told him he should have patience because I was worried about how he was doing. I went outside, and luckily we found an okada (Commercial motorcycle).
So I arrived with an okada man at their house. He climbed the motorcycle, and we went straight to that nurse's house in order to receive treatment. When we arrived, the woman examined him and found out that he was having malaria, so she gave him an injection and some other drugs for his recovery. Before taking that injection, he was crying like a baby, and I held my laugh, reserving it until he gets well.
Alhamdulillah, the man got well with enough rest as well as taking his drugs at the right time. A helping hand is necessary to support those who are in need so that they can help us someday when we are facing serious challenges.
Every religion supports the aspect of helping ourselves, and no religion goes against it. We must provide assistance in the form of free medical services within the community, which will include both young and old.
