Good day, everyone.
It’s been a long time since I last participated in a contest like this, all because my mobile phone was faulty. I’m happy to be back again. How are you all doing? I hope everyone is fine. First of all, I give thanks to God Almighty and also appreciate the host of this wonderful contest, @m-fdo, for bringing back such an interesting topic. My greetings also go to my fellow Steemians.

MORNING

I woke up immediately when my alarm rang at 5:30 a.m. That was the time I set it so I wouldn’t miss my Fajr prayer. After waking up, I brushed my teeth and drank a little warm water, which I do almost every morning. I then made my ablution and prayed.

After praying, I did some light exercise because it helps my body stay active, and I do it regularly. By the time I was done, it was already around 7:00 a.m. I started thinking about what to eat, and I felt like eating rice and beans with stew.

Since it was already late and I had a convocation ceremony to attend that day, I decided not to cook. Instead, I bought the food outside. The rice and beans with stew cost me ₦1,500, which is about 13.5 Steem. I ate it, and honestly, the food was nice. After eating, I took my bath and dressed up properly for the convocation event.

AFTERNOON

I arrived at the convocation as a student and sat down with others to listen to the school authorities. The Vice chancellor gave a speech that really caught my attention. He talked about poverty and explained that success is not only about having a certificate. He advised everyone not to depend only on certificates and mentioned that there are many online platforms where people can make good money.

At that point, Steemit came to my mind, and I couldn’t help but smile. The event was interesting, and I truly learned something from it. After the convocation ended, I went back home.

When I got home, I saw some ripe bananas I had kept earlier. I decided to fry them and eat them with garri. The total cost was ₦1,200, which is about 10.2 Steem. For those who may not know, garri is a common food or drink in Nigeria, made from cassava. After eating, I took some time to rest.

EVENING

I later woke up and noticed it was already 7:00 p.m. I didn’t feel hungry at all, so I decided not to eat dinner since I was still full. I performed my night prayer and then went to sleep.

CONCLUSION

In summary, the day was really a good one for me. I was able to start my morning with prayers, take care of myself, and eat well. Attending the convocation was the highlight of my day because I learned something important that will stay with me for a long time. The advice about not depending only on certificates really opened my mind and encouraged me to think more about building skills and using online opportunities like Steemit.

Even though I didn’t do much in the evening, I felt satisfied and peaceful. Days like this remind me that learning doesn’t only happen in classrooms; it can come from listening, observing, and experiencing things around us. I’m grateful for how the day went, and I ended it with a calm heart and a clear mind.

I invite my amazing colleagues @bossj23, @okere-blessing and @dprof to participate in this constest.
