🌸 SUNDAY – A Day in God’s Presence
Sundays are always beautiful, but yesterday felt even more amazing and fulfilling. I woke up feeling grateful and expectant. After getting ready, I stepped out for church service with a joyful heart.
Being in God’s presence is something I never take for granted. The atmosphere was so peaceful and uplifting. The Word was powerful, the worship session was spirit-filled, and of course, the choir myself included were exceptional! It’s always a blessing to minister and be ministered to at the same time.

After the service, the women had a short prayer session. Honestly, that part touched me deeply. There’s something so powerful about women coming together to intercede for one another. We prayed, we encouraged each other, and we left strengthened. Moments like that remind me how important community is.
When I got home, I enjoyed a nice lunch and treated myself to a sweet Sunday nap (you all know Sunday naps hit differently! 😌). Later in the evening, I did some ironing to prepare for Monday because I like starting my week organized and stress-free. I also went to bed quite early, ready to embrace the new week with fresh energy.

🌞 MONDAY – A Simple but Peaceful Start
I woke up feeling refreshed and excited there’s just something about a new week that brings fresh hope and motivation. After my morning prayers, I headed straight to the kitchen to prepare lunch: potatoes and egg sauce.
I made breakfast, fed and bathed my son, packed his lunch, and got him ready for school.

Ready for school

Mornings can be busy, but I truly cherish these little routines. They may seem ordinary, but they are special moments of motherhood.
After dropping him off at school, I passed through my neighbor’s compound and noticed some avocado pears that had fallen from the tree. Since it’s the season, you’ll always find some on the ground. I picked a few fresh and free blessings from nature! 🥑

I got home and freshened up for school myself, I checked my phone only to discover there would be no lectures today. That unexpected free time felt like a small gift. Instead of rushing out, I stayed home, read through some books, browsed the internet, rested a bit, and enjoyed my lunch peacefully.
In the afternoon, I went to pick up my son from school. The excitement on his face when he saw me melted my heart. It’s been his grandma doing the pickups lately, so seeing me there made him extra happy. Moments like that remind me that presence truly matters.
We got home, worked on some assignments together, and after that, he took a nap. The rest of the day was calm and peaceful.
Looking back, nothing extraordinary happened, yet everything felt beautiful. From worship and prayer to simple family moments and quiet rest, it was a gentle reminder that peace is a blessing on its own.
And that’s how my new week began rested, grateful, and hopeful. 💛
How did your Sunday and Monday go? Let’s share and encourage one another
