Doing Tiling at home.....

Today was maintenance day at home. And since we haven't completed tiling in some rooms at my apartment, I decided to make good use of my time.

We already bought cartons of tiles which we used for other rooms and these ones were left.

I bought few bags of cement and also got sand from the streets.

After getting all the materials in place, we mixed the cement and sand together in right proportions.
We kept stirring up to mix well .
We used the spade for the purpose.
After making sure that the Sand was properly mixed with the cement, we added water and mixed thoroughly .

We gathered enough quantity of sharp sand to level the floor before pouring the cement mixture.

We also leveled the cement mixture on the floor then mixed another one . Just cement and water to hold the tiles to the other cement mixture.

We successfully placed tiles on every part of the floor and also mixed white cement to dress the opening between tiles well.

After everything, we used clean water to wash off dirt and cement on the tiles and Left to dry.
That's the image of a complete tiled floor.
