Imagine telling that to a woman who was just brought into an operating room, laying under bright surgical lights, while doctors carefully opened her body layer by layer so her baby could enter the world safely.

A cesarean birth is not the “easy way" either but, it is a major surgery, a sound of medical monitors, stitches, healing wounds, and a scar that tells a powerful story of a survival, it is as well a trembling hands and quiet courage.

When other moms may be holding their newborn without pain, a C-section mother is often still lying there, still being numb from anesthesia, still feels the weight of the surgery. And then begins to heal and take a recovery that takes strength most people never see.

That scar on her body does not symbolize weakness rather a proof that she faced fear and chose life. She endured the surgery, endured the recovery and even while healing, she still have to wake up every few hours to feed, comfort, and love her baby.

Motherhood is never defined or justified by how a baby enters the world, rather is defined by sacrifice, strength, and unconditional love.

So to every Ceaseran section mom;
Your scar is not something you should, that mark is that of a courageous person, a true reminder that your body fought for your child, and that kind of strength is way powerful beyond words.
