Ever heard of Panic Attack?
A panic attack is described as a sudden surge of the body’s built, which response to danger, even when no real threat exists. The process of this panic attack begins when the brain begins to misinterprets a signal as being life threatening.

Sensory information is then routed rapidly through deep brain regions that specialize in survival. In moment time, your stress hormones will now flood the bloodstream, thereby accelerating your heart rate and then breathing becomes shallow, the pupils widen, and blood flow then shifts away from the hands and feet toward major muscles. These changes help humans to survive predators, but then in the time of this panic attack, they arrive without a clear external cause.

The areas of the brain involved are not always dependent on outside danger. Panic could also be triggered by internal bodily signals. Often changes in breathing can raise the carbon dioxide levels in the blood, thereby activating sensors that goes to warn the brain of possible suffocation or insufficiency. This often occur without conscious awareness, most especially during stress.

At this point, the brain responds as if oxygen is been threatened, it escalates symptoms like chest tightness, diziness, and air hunger, which tends to amplify fear.

Panic attack can actually feel catastrophic, it reflects to the temporary loss of balance in an automatic control systems, and not physical harm. The sensations peaks and fall as the nervous system resets, even as the experience feels overwhelming while it lasts. We call always say that panic attack needs an urgent care but then, it isn't much of a life threatening.
