Parenting Is a Calling, Not a Competition

in Steem Kids & Parents8 days ago

Parenting is not about proving who is stricter, richer, louder, or more admired. It is a divine responsibility that requires humility, patience, and daily learning.

Comparing your child to others kills confidence.
Comparing yourself to other parents steals peace.

Every child is uniquely wired. What works for one may not work for another. Parenting requires discernment, not imitation.

When parents focus on nurturing purpose instead of performance, children grow secure in who they are, not pressured to please the world.

Raise children who know their worth, not children who live for approval.

Parents, stop comparing your children to others; comparison destroys their confidence, while prophecy helps shape their destiny. Use your words to create a bright future for them; speak greatness, success, and divine favour over their lives. Education alone does not guarantee wealth—your declarations influence their path. When you prophesy over your children, heaven aligns with your words.

Parenting is more than love and provision.

It’s a sacred call to duty. We guard their hearts in prayer, speak purpose over their lives, and commit their future to God even when they’re too young to understand it.

The seeds we sow on our knees today shape the strength, wisdom, and direction they walk in tomorrow.

PRAY EARLY!
PRAY INTENTIONALLY!
PRAY CONSISTENTLY!
Because raising children is not just a SEASON , it’s an ASSIGNMENT.

This is a nice write up, Parenting is often misunderstood as a competition, yet it is truly a responsibility shaped by love, sacrifice, and consistency. Your perspective highlights the importance of focusing on the child rather than societal pressure. A meaningful post that many parents need to read.
