Weekly Contest 50 || The Diary Game || How I spent my day.
I was woken from sleep this morning due to the sounds of pots and plates clanging in the kitchen. Yeah! That was my mom already up and preparing for the day. She planned on going to her water leaf farm. And of course I'll be going with her.
I woke up still feeling drowsy, cleaned my eyes to be very much awake. I sat on my bed and I was grateful to God for seeing another day.
I did my morning devotion by singing, praying and reading my Bible. It took about 30 minutes before I was done.
When I was done with my devotion, I stood up from my bed and started with the basic activities of the day. I swept and cleaned the house, brushed my teeth and also ate.

From my gallery
After eating I prepared to go to the farm with my mother. She was already set to leave, and so she left while I still prepared and joined her later on.
I got to the farm and changed to more comfortable clothes and we started cutting the already grown water leaf for sales. All we were to do today was to cut the water leaf and tie them into the right size, then take it to the market for selling. I wasn't with my phone as it was off, I would have shown you pictures of my mother's water leaf farm. Some other day anyways.
My mom and I stayed at the farm late into the afternoon and we rounded up our work around past 2 pm. My mom took a bike and transported the bag of water leaf to the market while I went home. The moment I got home, I took my bath, ate and rested a little while.

Lunch
My mom returned from the market, she actually made great sales. So she bought a tuber of yam at home.

The yam
I took the yam and started preparing it for dinner. I simply boiled the yam after peeing it to eat with our leftover stew.
When it was ready, I didn't waste time devouring it. I enjoyed the combo actually. That was how I spent my day. Thank you for reading.
I'll invite my friends @saintkelvin17, @fuli, @habbib to join me in this game.

I'm with you; the year has already started. I like how you're helping your mom both with house chores and her business, unlike some Gen Z girls. Jehovah God is pleased and will bless you. Keep showing gratitude; it's essential, and I enjoyed reading your message.
