sanc2: Share your thoughts about TRUST
Trust means the world to me. It is the foundation of every real relationship in life. To me, trust is not just believing what someone says, but feeling safe in their presence and knowing they will not hurt you intentionally. I can remember when I had issues with a friend, if not for trust he would had kicked me off.
It is the comfort of opening your heart without fear. Trust is peace, honesty, loyalty, and emotional security all combined into one feeling. Without trust, even love becomes unstable and confusing. So I really do believe in trust.
No, love cannot survive without trust.
The reason I say so is because trust is what gives love its strength and direction. Even if two people say they love each other, without trust there will always be doubt, fear, and misunderstanding. I still want to talk about when I had issues with my friend about a little misunderstanding we were unable to settle, it's lasted for months, still with the hate we were still there for ourselves because therenis love.
You cannot fully love someone while constantly questioning their actions or intentions. Love needs a safe space to grow, and trust creates that space. When trust is missing, love slowly turns into pain, anxiety, and emotional distance. That is why I believe you cannot keep your heart in a place that feels unsafe for too long.
People build trust through honesty, loyalty, truth, and consistent actions over time. Trust is not built quickly; it grows step by step. It starts when someone proves that their words match their actions. E.g, during the moments I had issues with my guy I realized that there was still love, I mean real love cause of the good deeds we did in the past.
So trust grows stronger when people are honest even in difficult situations, remain loyal when no one is watching, and keep their promises no matter what.
Communication also plays a big role when people are open, transparent, and respectful, trust becomes stronger. Small consistent actions are what create deep and lasting trust.
When trust is broken, something very important in a relationship is lost. The connection becomes weak, and emotional distance starts to grow. Broken trust brings pain, doubt, and disappointment. Though I've not experienced this with my friend. One way I've experienced it and I can say that when love is broken just forget friendship infact leave the environment if the people around lost trust in you cause it wont be nice to experience such hate.
Even if love is still there, it becomes difficult to feel safe again. Every word and action starts to feel questionable. In many cases, relationships end because the foundation is no longer strong. Sometimes trust can be rebuilt, but it takes time, effort, honesty, and real change. Even then, the memory of betrayal often remains.
