"SEC-S30W2: Family Bonding Activities"

My name is @dhizy, from Nigeria the activities that families can choose to do is reading books and stories books which can help people gain knowledge, improve imagination, and develop a better understanding of the world. It is both an educational and entertaining activities that can be done individually or in groups.

The activities of reading books and stories involves selecting a book or story and carefully going through the written words in order to understand the message, lessons,or entertainment the writer wants to share. Book can be about different topics such as adventure, history, science, culture, or moral lessons, stories, on the other hand often contains characters, events, and plot that teach lessons about life.

The person in my family who enjoyed the activity of reading books the most is my junior brother. He really loves reading because it helps him learn new things and imagine different stories. My junior brother usually spends his free time reading different kinds of books such as story books, adventure, books, educational books.

Whenever he gets a new book, he becomes very exited and curious to know what the story is about. He often sits in a quiet place like the living room or his bedroom so that he can concentrate well while reading. While reading, he likes to go through the pages slowly so that he can understand every part of the story. Sometimes he read

Sometimes he even reads aloud, especially when the story is interesting or funny. When he finishes reading a book, he enjoys telling the rest of the family about the story, the character and the lesson he learned from it. Reading books also helps my junior brother improve his vocabulary and knowledge. It makes him more creative and helps him perform better in school. Because of this, everyone in the family encourages him to continue reading.

Getting everyone together to carry out reading activities can sometimes be difficult. Some common challenges include, different schedule, people in the family or group have different daily routines, some may be busy with schools, work or chores, making it hard to find a time when everyone is available.

Not everyone may enjoy reading, some people might prefer watching TV, playing games, or using their phones instead of joining the reading activities. Noise, television, mobile phone, or other activities can cause distractions and make it difficult for them to focus on reading together.

Sometimes, there may not be enough books or interesting stories for everyone which can reduce participation. People in the group might have different reading abilities. Some may read very well while others are still learning, which can slow the activities or make some feel uncomfortable.

The gains from doing reading activities together as a family are many, and it can truly bond the family In a special way. Better understanding and learning, reading books and stories together helps everyone learn new words, ideas, lessons and others.It improves knowledge and thinking skills for both children and adults.

When family members sit together to read and discuss stories, they spend quality time with each other. This helps to strengthen love, trust and communication in the family. Seeing others family members read can motivate everyone to develop the habit of reading more often. Younger ones especially feels encouraged when older ones participate and share ideas and opinions.
