The Diary Game: Break time with my Pupils..

Hello fellow steemits..! Happy New Week to you all..
Welcome to another episode of my diary game with @dimmma. Today is Monday and the start of another school runs..it rained last night and I was so weak to start up from my bed, but I had to force myself.. because I had to prepare for school. When I got to the school, pupils haven't come yet, but few teachers were already in school, I had to go inside my classroom and arrange the seats for the days lessons

Few minutes later, the pupils started coming, some cried as their parents left them and went to their various work..it was emotional, but they had no choice than to stay. After the morning devotion, everyone of them went to their various classes, we sang our rhymes and also learned our alphabets and numbers. It was very interesting sections, by 11. am, we went for break, they brought out their food, water and juice, we stood up and prayed over the food. Some had rice and stew, some noodles, and others snacks.
I helped them open their lunch boxes and served them their food properly. A few of them tried to feed themselves and some needed my help . Some were interested in eating while some were interested in playing, but I tried my best to make sure they ate a good quantity. As I was feeding them, I just sat quietly for a moment and watched them, it made me smile.. it also made me to realize that teaching is not all about lessons and writing on the board, sometimes it's about helping them hold the spoon properly, wipe their mouth and making sure they eat well .
Moments like this feels small but they mean a lot to me ..At a moment, I felt like we're one small family 😊
