Mother's Day - 15/03/2026

Everyone has someone who plays a major role in supporting them, making decisions, and also guiding them through good and difficult times. These persons tend to be like a source of inspiration, encouragement,, and strength. In my life I do have such a person, and it is no other person than my mom.

My mom is very important because she always cares and supports me in anyway she can. Her love and dedication to the family is very great and goes unnoticed. Academically, she supports me and encourages me to go on despite how stressful and draining school can be. She is caring, patient, and always ready to sacrifice her time, energy, or resources to always see her children successful.

One of the most memorable moments I had with my momo was when I felt bad about the academic load and pressure I had. I felt so low and nearly gave up on my academic pursuit because the pressure was a whole lot on me. She did not just give up on me; instead, she took time to sit me down and talk about how I should recover. She encouraged me, therefore showing me a different path on why I need to pursue my academics and chase good grades.

One important lesson I learned from my mom is patience. Some people need time to recover or process some things slowly. She is always patient with her children. I have also learned from her perseverance and kindness. She is always willing and ready to share what she has with others, even though sometimes I feel it is too much. She had a very familiar saying, "Kindness Is Free." These words have stuck in my mind and have become a part of me.

I don't have many words on what I would say to her. There is no right word to put to describe all that she has said and done for me in my life. I would tell her I appreciate her sacrifices, love, and support in my life. I would also promise her that I would surely make her proud.
