Sunday... The fashion day- sharing three of my favorite dresses

What is Fashion?... To me fashion is a statement, the way you dress tells a lot about you.
Although we are advised not to judge a book by its cover, which is very true.. but on certain occasions I believe we have to dress the right way, bringing honour to that occasion.

I have only one really simple fashion rule, "Dress for your body";

Even though I'm not a seamstress, but I still love fashion, it's not just about clothes, your other accessories also combine to make that outfit stand out.

In this post I'd like to display three of my favorite dresses, normally I don't really like wearing dresses, but I have a few that I usually love. so I'm gonna share three of them and why I love them, including the occasions I wore them to.

First is this purple straight cut gown..
The reason I like this gown cannot not really be that explained to be honest.
Formerly I never liked gowns, not to talk of straight cut gowns that I felt usually restricts my movement. But this particular dress changed my whole perspective of straight cut gowns.

I actually wore it for the first time at our convention and I got a bunch of compliments, it didn't restrict my movements at all, but rather it fitted to my body properly and was actually easy to walk around in, in all I really loved the dress.
The neck is another design I truly admire, I think it's called cow neck or so, but it just added elegance along with the sleeve to give the dress an overall smart look which I adore. That's one.

The second is this Brown shirt gown.
I actually had another shirt gown before this but I actually love this one, because it is really stylish but simple when you look at it, and it's really comfortable.

I don't really know whether it's brown, or carton colour, it sometimes even has a shade of peach to me at times, but that colour suits my skin tone and I love it, when combined with golden accessories, it makes a whole new office lady statement you know, it's something I really love an adore.
The little details to the dress also make it spectacular.
The fancy buttons, and the little side belts by the side, it's really unique to me.

The last dress I want to talk about today is the navy blue gathers gown, will I say in my country, this style of dress is really trending.

It's a very pretty Style where the upper part of the cow can be any style, while the lower part is gathered to give it a flowing look.

The reason I love this dress;
First of all it's in my favorite colour, Blue is my favorite color and I love it in all shades, so looking at the colour of the dress alone gives me a peace of mind I cannot really explain.
Second I wore the dress on my graduation from high school, which makes it very special to me.
The colour of the the day in school was Navy blue, and I was really excited to see my other classmates pretty dresses, everyone admired the unique colour and the Style, it's very simple but beautiful too.

Third and probably the reason I love all these three dresses I mentioned above is that, I have them ain the same color with all members of my family, the uniform is another thing that adds real beauty to all the dresses and makes me adore them all the more.

Like I said, Fashion is a statement, and you don't have to go the extra mile or be too expensive, sometimes something simple does the charm, and remember, always dress for your body...
