All in one Contest Week 31 : Drawing of a Cute Dragon Fruit

Assalamualaikum Everyone. I hope all of you are doing well and having a great time.

I am Ghosia from Pakistan. Today, I am going to participate in the All in one Contest Week 31: Writing Expedition and Food Challenge. This contest includes many topics to participate and we can select one according to our own interest.

So, today the topic I chose for this contest is Drawing. I am very thankful to @steemkidss for organizing this contest and giving us this opportunity to show our talent and creativity.

Today, I will share with you How I drew a Cute Dragon Fruit. I will share the whole process of my drawing step-by-step. I hope you will like it.

Materials Required

1. White paper
2. Lead pencil
3. Eraser
4. Pencil colors (pink , black and green)
5. Marker color (only light green)
6. Black pointer

Step no 1
I started by drawing the base of the cute dragon fruit.

Step no 2
In this step I drew some outer scales on the left side.

Step no 3
Then I drew remaining outer scales on the right side and three inner scales in the center. I also drew small curves inside each scale to give it a beautiful look.

Step no 4
This was the last step of the sketch . In this step, I drew large round eyes and a cute smile in the center of the dragon fruit. Then I wrote my username and today's date. With this my sketch of Cute Dragon Fruit was ready.

Step no 5
Now it was time to fill colors in the sketch. I started by outlining the whole sketch with black pointer except the small curves inside each scale. Then I outlined those curves with green marker. I did this to make every detail more prominent. At the end I erased pencil marks to make it look neat and clean.

Step no 6
In this step first I filled black color in the eyes and then light green pencil color in the upper part of all the scales of the cute dragon fruit.

Step no 7
This was the last step of filling colors in the sketch. In this step, I filled bright pink color in the remaining part of the dragon fruit. With this, my step-by-step drawing of Cute Dragon Fruit was ready. Here is the final look:
