All in one Contests week 27: Writing Expedition & Food Challenge

Assalamualaikum Everyone. I hope all of you are doing well. I am Ghosia from Pakistan & my steemit username is @ghosvisions.

Today I am going to participate in All in one contest week 27 which is organized by @steemkidss. The topic which I chose for this contest is Drawing.

Drawing has been my most favourite hobby since childhood. During my school and college life I did a lot of activities related to drawing & crafting like making Eid and birthday cards, charts, decorating walls and handmade models etc. But unfortunately, my this hobby was left behind due to hectic routine after joining university and moving from my village to the city & settling into new life. I missed all that a lot.

Now I am so happy after joining steemit because it gives me an opportunity to continue my hobby again and show my creativity. I am also thankful to steemkidss for organizing this contest and giving me an opportunity to show my skill & creativity.

So, today I will share my drawing of a Delicious Chocolate Cake Slice with Strawberry Toppings. Cakes are almost liked by everyone especially children. I hope you all will enjoy my drawing. I will share the whole process of this drawing step-by-step.

Materials Required:

1. White Paper
2. Lead pencil
3. Eraser
4. Black pointer
5. Pencil colors

Step no 1
By using a lead pencil I started by drawing the base of the cake. Then I drew wavy lines to give it a look of creamy layer.

Step no 2
In this step I drew basic structure of the upper side of the cake. I drew it like a triangle shape to make it look like a cake slice. Then I drew a strawberry at the top as a topping.

Step no 3
In this step I drew another strawberry as a topping and then drew dripping white cream from the upper side of the cake down to the bottom to give it more delicious look. I also drew another wavy cream layer in the centre of the cake slice.

Step no 4
In this step I drew some creamy drops on the surface near the bottom of the cake slice, to make it look like delicious cream is dripping from the top of cake to the bottom. Then, I drew a leaf next to strawberries at the top of the cake slice to give it a more beautiful look. With this my whole sketch of delicious chocolate cake slice was complete.

Step no 5
Now it was time to fill colors in the sketch, which is always my favourite part. I started by outlining the whole cake slice with black pointer except the leaves to make every detail of the slice more prominent. And then, I outlined the leaves with dark green pencil color. At the end I erased pencil marks with an eraser to make the drawing neat & clean.

Step no 6
In this step I filled red color in the strawberries and light green color in the leaves.

Step no 7
In this step I filled dark brown color in the uper side of the cake slice & leaving the dripping cream white.

Step no 8
Then, in this step I filled the dark brown color in the second layer of the cake slice leaving middle cream layer white.

Step no 9
This was the last step of filling colors. In this step I filled dark brown color in the 3rd layer of the cake and then used very light peach shade in the cream layers inside the cake slice. With this, my whole drawing of a Delicious Chocolate Cake Slice with Strawberry Toppings was complete. Here is the final look :

Then, at the end I wrote my username and today's date.
