Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. I am @green015 from India. Anyway, today I present to you a art post.

Drawing a Picture of a Cat:

Today, I am sharing a drawing of a cat. I have always had a deep fondness for creating this type of artwork, as art allows one to beautifully portray various emotions and expressions of love. Since I am currently living away from home to pursue my studies, I miss my pet cats back home terribly. Thoughts of them cross my mind time and again; thus, driven by these heartfelt emotions, I created this drawing of a cat specifically for this contest.The interesting thing is that, I tried to draw this using the '×' symbol.I absolutely love to draw, even though I may not possess exceptional artistic skills. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to @mesola for organizing such a wonderful contest. I hope you all enjoy this drawing of a cat that I have created.

Materials:

1.White paper
2.Colored marker pens
3.Black ballpoint pen
4.Pencil and
5.Eraser

Drawing Method:

Step: 1

First, I will draw an 'X' mark on a piece of white paper using a pencil.

Step: 2

Next, I will draw curved lines on both sides of the 'X' mark to clearly define the shape of a nose; then, by drawing straight lines, I will sketch the outlines of two eyes on either side.

Step: 3

Now, I will draw the cat's ears, whiskers, and facial features.

Step: 4

At this point, I will take a photograph of my hand using my phone.

Step: 5

Now, I will color in the nose and mouth using a colored marker pen. Afterward, I will draw various black symbols inside the facial area using a black ballpoint pen.

Step: 6

Now, using a black ballpoint pen, I will add some black shading to various spots on the tail and body. I will also draw the legs.

Final Step:

Next, using a marker pen, I will draw a grass design beneath the cat's body to create the impression that the cat is sitting on the grass. Then, I will add small dots to the whiskers and draw some subtle patterns on the body using the black ballpoint pen. Finally, I will sign my name within the grass using the black ballpoint pen.
