Assalam u alaikum,

I had bought a plastic sheet cover for my children’s mattress quite a long time ago, which I had kept with me until now. First, I used that cover to make a cover for my dish rack, and then from the remaining sheet, I made a pouch. I am sharing the step-by-step pictures and the method of making it with you.

Plastic sheet pouch

To make the plastic sheet pouch, first I cut the sheet according to my desired size and also cut a ribbon matching that size.

Now, first we will join the two sides of the sheet using Scotch tape.

Keep in mind that the Scotch tape should be wide so that both sides of the sheet stick properly within the width of the tape.

With the help of a needle, stitch the red ribbon on both sides, and also bring a small portion of the ribbon up to the top where the zip will be attached.

When both sides of the pouch are closed with the red ribbon, attach the red ribbon to both edges of the zip as well.

Also close the starting and ending points of the zip using small pieces of red ribbon.

Once the ribbon is attached on both sides of the zip, stitch the zip onto the pouch using a needle.

As soon as the zip is attached, our pouch will be ready.

This pouch can be used for various purposes, such as for children's skincare products, for storing your own makeup supplies, or for children's school stationery.
