THE DIARY GAME FOR || 06-02-2025 || Spending A Boring Day Alone, And Attending Christian Meeting.

My Dear Diary📖🍁

I went to work today at 10a.m, like, I was so late going to work since my actual time for work is 8a.m, so going at 10am today shows how late I was. But although I was late for work, I didn't panic because I knew my boss wasn't going to be at the workshop that day. But why was I going to work at that time when I knew my boss wouldn't be around? For me to answer that question, I'm going to give you a highlight of how my day goes. Hope you find it entertaining.

MY MORNING AND AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

Today is Thursday, and normally I don't usually go to work on Thursdays. So why are you going today? Well, on Wednesday before going back from work my boss told me he wasn't going to be at work the next day which is Thursday, so in order not to let the shop stay closed, I had to come to work on my free day.

But actually, the main reason that made me go to work late on Thursday wasn't because it was my free day. Hunger was the main reason; there wasn't any food at home that I would have eaten before going to work, and I was too hungry to go to work on an empty stomach, my mom doesn't run her restaurant on Thursdays, so I had to cook before going to work. Before I could finish cooking the food I needed, it took a lot of time which made me end up going to work late.

I arrived at the workshop a few minutes past 10 a.m., and the ship was closed as expected; even the street was dry and calm. A few minutes after cleaning and tidying up the shop my younger brother came in and asked for a low hair cut which I did nicely.

According to my boss, I was supposed to stay in the shop till 1 p.m. Before that time, he would be back, and then I would go back to prepare for my midweek Christian meeting. But he didn't come back, so I decided to wait for another 30min but he still didn't come back. All this time I stayed in the shop, there was no single customer who came to ask for my service, like, it was so boring and I slept countless times.

However, I wasn't able to wait any longer when the time clocked 1:40p.m, so I closed the shop and headed back home. I got home at 2:05 p.m; on arriving home, the first thing I wanted to do was to iron my clothes, which I needed to fear for the meeting. But the issue I had was that the iron I needed to use wasn't with us, it was with one of our neighbors who just collected it from us.

But I'm always having issues with all these people who happen to use other people's things, like, you don't have this thing, you came and borrowed it from me promising to return it back when you are done and I gave it to you, then what's wrong with you keeping someone property at your own house like it yours and not returning it to the owner?. Then I'll be coming to collect it from you when I want to use it; once I'm done, you will come and take it again, like, are we sharing my property or what? Please word of advice, all of you guys out there that have this habit should try and stop it, the owner might not like it but might not be able to tell you directly, when you borrow someone something try and return it once you are done or the next day, you are not sharing the property with the owner, please.

Back to our story, I went to the neighbor's house to collect the iron from him, but unfortunately, there wasn't anyone in the house, everywhere was quiet, after shouting at calling for someone, I decided to take the backyard into the compound where one of his siblings, but she told me that the person I'm looking for isn't around, saying he went to a laboring work, I got Provoked but she also told me where he was working, I needed to go there since I really needed to use that iron.

I followed the directions I was told to the site he was working at, just so he could tell me where he kept the iron then I'd have to go back to his compound and take it like I was so annoyed, he gave me the key to his room then I took it back to his mom then she brings out the iron to me, I thank God they were cooking so I decided to take some charcoal from there, then I headed back home and do my ironing. Before I could finish ironing my clothes after everything, the time was already 3:11p.m.

On My Way Going To Church

I arrived at the kingdom hall at 3:50 p.m; since there were a few minutes before the meeting began, I engaged in arranging and cleaning some dirt. I didn't have a designated position to work in, so I decided to work as a platform servant.

In the Bible study section, which consisted of reading and answering questions, @alli001 was the paragraph reader, and he did it fluently as usual. The meeting came to an end with a lovely praising song and prayer.

Coming back from the Christian meeting, I was exhausted, but I went to visit a friend whom I missed for a long time; we vibed and chilled together before I could notice it was 9 p.m. To avoid staying too late outside, I decided to take my life. On reaching home, I didn't bother asking for dinner because I was already full; the only thing I asked for was protection from my dear father, Jehovah, and then I went to sleep.
