Pictures tell a thousand stories...Wk-32.
I invite all my Steemit friends to my new blog. I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah, I am well too. I will be presenting a picture and the story of the picture in the "Pictures Tell a Thousand Stories" competition organized by Steem Kids and Parents community moderator @fortwis09. Thank you very much for organizing this great competition. I am very happy to participate in the competition. Without further ado, let's get to today's story.
The river you see in the picture is the Gorai River. The river-mother country is Bangladesh. The main river of Bangladesh is the Padma River. The Padma River is a major tributary of the Ganges River that enters Bangladesh from India. Rajshahi, one of the cities of Bangladesh, is located on the north bank of the Padma River. The Lalon Shah Bridge flowing over the Gorai River is seen in the picture mentioned above. This river is related to the livelihood of many people.
The life of the people of Bangladesh is river-centered. The influence of the river is also present in the thousands of years of rural tradition and culture. Rivers and people live together in this country. The people of this country depend on the river to make a living. The big trawler that you see in the river is a sand-carrying trawler. The people of this country earn a living by extracting sand from the river. Fishermen earn a living by catching fish from the river. In this way, a deep relationship has developed between the river and the people.
The popular Lalon Shah Bridge in Bangladesh flows over the Gorai River in Bangladesh. This Lalon Shah Bridge attracts thousands of tourists. The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant has been built on the banks of this river, which has increased its popularity. Like the flow of the river, the course of life is always changing. Just as the flow of the river is sometimes calm, sometimes turbulent, so is the life of people.
