My Weekly Food Highlight, Take a Look
Greetings to all my lovely Steemians. It's such a privilege to be participating in this contest organised by Ma'am @ngoenyi this week.I am so glad to be sharing my meals that I had during this week and choice of food with you all.
Tuesday meal: Jollof rice with moi moi and chicken |

Jollof rice is one of the most common foods in Nigeria. It has been a while since I ate it, so I just decided to cook it on this day, and I love taking mine with moi moi, and I really enjoyed the combo.
Ingredients for the jollof rice: basmati rice, tomatoes, chilli pepper, red bell pepper, coconut oil, ghee, onions, chicken, green peas, seasoning and salt to taste
Ingredients for the moimoi: Yellow lentils, red bell pepper, eggs, ghee, onions, salt and seasoning to taste.
Wednesday meal: Chocolate Oat Baked Cake |

This chocolate cake is one of my go-to cakes. I love making it anytime I feel like treating myself; it's so simple to make and it's healthy as well. I love making it a lot.
Ingredients: Oats, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, bananas, milk, baking powder, yoghurt, eggs, pinch of salt, nuts for topping.

Thursday meal: Chicken and vegetables Stir-fry |

I love cooking this meal anytime I am tired of making the normal regular chicken stew or soup. I love making it because it goes well with different kinds of foods, e.g., rice, yam, potatoes, etc.
Ingredients: Chicken breast, red, yellow and green bell peppers, onions, carrots, cabbage, seasoning and salt to taste
Friday meal: Variety of fruits |

I had fruits on Friday afternoon; I was doing intermittent fasting, so I decided to break my fast with these fruits since I didn't feel like eating solid food yet.
Kinds of fruits: guava, grapes, bananas, tangerines and plums
