Easy way to make cute cartoon characters out of clay 🎨

Today I am sharing with you a beautiful clay art I made. In this work I created a cute little cartoon character using soft clay of different colors. I tried to make each step easy and clean.

Step 1: Make the face

First I took a light colored clay and softened it well. Then make the face of the character by giving it a round shape and put small ears on both sides.

Step 2: Making the hair

After that I made the base of the hair with black clay. The hair was given a proper shape on the top of the head and made the hair more beautiful by applying a small amount of purple clay.

Step 3: Making the Hood

Now I made a long strip of yellow clay and applied it carefully around the face. This created the hood of the character's hoodie.

Step 4: Preparing the body

In the next step, the body is made of yellow clay. I kept the body simple and slightly rounded to make the character look like a cute cartoon.

Step 5: Making the Arms

Now I took two parts of yellow clay and made them long and put them on both sides of the body to make arms. Used a small amount of quick colored clay for the hands.

Step 6: Paint and Legs

After that, paint was prepared from purple clay. Both the legs were given a distinct shape and a beautiful design was made by applying small yellow patches on the knees.

Step 7: Shoes and Final Details

Finally I made shoes from pink and purple clay. Also added small colorful details on clothes and arms to make the character look more interesting.

Step 8: Complete the role

After completing all the parts I carefully put everything in place. Thus my clay art character is complete. I love the bold colors and the hoodie style.

My experience

The most fun I had while making this clay art was using different colors together. It was a bit difficult to make some parts in the beginning, but gradually the shape of the character became clear. I think patience and neatness are very important in clay art, because even the smallest details can enhance the beauty of the whole creation.
