The Diary Game: [21/09/2026] From Home To School: How I Spent My Monday Today

Hello, everyone. I am @munap. Welcome to another diary session. Trust you are all doing well.

Whoo, it was another work day today. It was Monday, of course. A new day in a new week to handle children and give them knowledge. I think today, I was a bit excited to see them.

Well, I woke early as usual, sang my praises to God and took my bath. Then, I ate a little something, bread and butter. I drank some water, haha. Then, when I had checked and confirmed I was all good to go, I set out. Thankfully, I reached just on time. But, nothing prepared me for what would happen next.

My ex-learners, oops, came all the way from where they were to hug me as they always did. They closed me in a warm and tight embrace that I almost staggered. I was so happy to see them, especially the ones that it had been ages I last saw them. One of their parents even said "your children don miss you o". And I did miss them as well, so much.

So, we did the morning assembly shortly. We spent 10-15 minutes on that after which we went to different classes for the lessons.

So, today, school has officially resumed in my state, funny. Parents normally give their wards an extra week after resumption, then they will resume the next week that followed. So that was the case today. There was an increment from nine learners to thirteen learners in my class, Transition.

Classes were held. My learners who had found it hard to cope up with their new class adjusted a bit and did much better than before in writing and expression. It made feel great to know that there was improvement and my time with them was well spent. Well, school was dismissed after some hours.

It was an amazing day today in school. I felt proud when a parent today told me today "you really try for your children o". It made feel great a lot. Being able to impact knowledge into children and it, paying off, was a whole pleasure.

And I felt extra relieved that there was no meeting today. But there was some serious rain waiting for me. There was heavy downpour that made me arrive home later than I left school. It also gave me severe cold. But I am glad that I am okay now.
