My travel Experience

was contacted by my elder brother to come home so as to be able to visit my uncle who assisted me to get my current employment. I didn't plan to but I had to. Yes, it is important that I visit him because ever since he assisted me, I haven't met with him. So, I quickly got ready and travelled on the 28th of December 2025. I travelled in company of my nieces.

It was by 4pm that we left and due to the rush, it was very difficult for us to get vehicle easily. However, I had to first branch a mall to buy few things for myself a d for others.

After much struggle, we were able to get a very but at a very expensive price. Imagine paying 4000 Naira (44.4 steem) just to move from Aba to Umuahia, a distance that usually costs 1500 Naira (16.6 steem). The difference is much but it was due to the season and passengers were much.

We finally got to the capital city which is Umuahia to board another vehicle that will then take us to my village.

	this is Umuahia Tower that carries the symbol of the state. At the foot of this tower is inscribed the names of all the local Governments in the state.

Getting to the motor park, it became another struggle. Yes, too many travellers with few vehicles. We waited and waited but later left buy 7. 30 pm. It wasn't an easy journey per say. We paid 2500 Naira (27.7 steem). This was the fairest price we could get as others were hiking the price like petrol price in my city.

We finally arrived by 9pm and it was dark already. We saw my sister who was already worried and calling. But we embraced ourselves. We decided to go say greetings to my step siblings and other relatives that night and as well locate my brother who is very busy with village matters as the President General of the village union. They had been busy planning the event that will take place the next Day. We were able to meet him but he was in a meeting and he asked that we wait for him to finish.

We quickly went to my father's house to others. We are living in another house built by my brother and so we had left the family house long ago. We got there and see my step siblings along with other uncles and aunties. We embraced ourselves, exchanged pleasantries, spent a little time there before returning to move with my brother.

We got home by 10 pm, ate our dinner, took our shower and retired for the day. It was really a stressful journey but seeing our relatives made all the difference. You will want to know how I enjoyed my stay there right? Just stay tuned. I will soon gist you but in my next post about my travel.
