The Diary Game | From Church to an Unexpected Rush Work.

Good day Steem Fam 🩷. Welcome to another Sunday diary episode with @prettypee. I hope I hope you're all doing well and having a wonderful day. Here's how my Sunday went.

I started my day around 6am. .I woke up feeling refreshed and energetic for the new day and started my morning by dressing my bed. After that, I had my bath and got ready for church. I wore a black blouse with a blue Ankara skirt, a simple outfit from my brand. Before leaving the house, I had an apple as a quick snack since I didn't want to go to church on an empty stomach.

Church service was refreshing. We praised God, worshipped, danced, and listened to the sermon. The preacher spoke about waiting on God's time and it felt like he was speaking to me directly. It felt good to be in God's presence after the stressful week I had, especially after being sick. Seeing everyone joyful, happy and energetic just lifted my mood.

After the service, I spent some time outside taking pictures with family members and friends before heading back home. We also had a quick chat to catch up before I bade them farewell.

As soon as I got home, I changed out of my church clothes to something more comfy and was about to clean my bedroom when I received a message from one of my clients. She reminded me that she would be coming on Monday to pick up her dress. My heart skipped for a moment because I had completely forgotten about it. The sickness over the past few days had made me lose track of time. I immediately apologized to her, explained what had happened, and assured her that I would finish the dress before she came.

Without wasting any more time, I got dressed again and rushed to my tailoring shop. Unfortunately, there was no electricity, and I didn't repair my generator so I couldn't work.

Rather than sit around waiting, I went over to a friend's house where I started drafting the pattern and cutting the fabric. As I was about to sit to start sewing, the light in her place also went out.

Jollof rice

I was so angry and frustrated. It was at that point I realised I was yet to eat. She gave me fruit salad while waiting for the food. I quickly ate it and joined her in the kitchen while waiting for the light to be restored. There, I helped out as we prepared jollof rice and salad. Safe to say I never get tired of eating rice. The food was finally fine around 3pm and it was so delicious. I ate to fill.

The electricity didn't come back until about 5:00 p.m. Once it did, I immediately started sewing. I avoided every distractions because I was determined to finish the dress. Around 10:00 p.m., I finally completed the dress. I was exhausted but also relieved and happy that I was able to finish it on time despite the annoying delay. Since it was late. I decided to crash at my friend's place. I had my bath and retired to bed.

Sunday started as a peaceful day filled with worship, beautiful moments with loved ones but turned to something stressful. I feel bad I couldn't rest well before resuming work on Monday but I'm glad I got to make my client happy.
