The Diary Game: A cold Night And Waking up Feeling Sick (3/4/2026)

Hello My Steemit Family! Hope you're all doing well.. it's @prosper-1 again, and it's been a while I wrote here. Honestly I have been so down for the past few days, but I'm going better.

I just want to update you guys on how I'm faring, today was one of those morning that I never wanted to wake up from bed. Last night I started having a slight chill in my body, a heaviness in my head, and uncomfortable feelings. But I managed to wake, said my usual morning affirmations and brushed my teeth. It has rained last night and the cold was very much here, and this morning it started drizzling again and I had to lay down on bed, because I was already feeling the cold.

Immediately the rain stopped, I stood up to go to a nearby local market close by, to get food items for cooking.

I wore my sweater and managed to get there, I noticed the woman didn't have much stuffs , she said she hasn't gone to buy goods due to the rain. I bought the few necessary things I needed, but the she didn't have fish, and honestly I didn't want to go further, so I opted for eggs.

When I got home I felt better, maybe it's because I walked, I wasn't feeling much cold again, I had to dive into the kitchen to prepare the food. I bought out the items and firstly parboiled my rice. After parboiling it, I set a new water on fire, washed my parboiled rice and poured into the pot to cook.

After cooking the rice, I made an egg sauce and ate to my fill then took my medications. As the day went on and I began to feel slightly better, That small activity actually felt like a big step for me, a sign that my body was slowly recovering and regaining its normal rhythm. There’s a certain comfort that comes with being able to prepare your own meal again after feeling weak.

Today turned into a slow day for me, lots of rest, warm drink and taking things easy while my body recovers. Honestly good health is underrated, but I'm grateful, because I'm much more stronger.
