The Diary Game: It's School Resumption Day! (20/4/2026)

Hello My Steemit Family! Good evening... I hope you all are doing well? It's @prosper-1 once again and today I want to update you guys how my day went.

Today being Monday 20th April, was my school resumption day. I woke up with mixed feelings, firstly I wished the holidays would be extended, as I really needed more rest, and secondly I have really missed the learners, and was really looking forward to seeing them again.

I woke up early, said my morning affirmations, brushed my teeth and freshened up for school. When I got to school, the school gate was already opened and the cleaner was doing her duties quite well.

The school compound was already swept and the classrooms were put in order, some of the teachers had come, while some didn't come back. The school cleaner was quite an aged woman, so I decided to help her out with arranging some of the classes.

After arranging the classes, we were called to have an opening day short prayer and thanks giving, we sang, prayed and thanked God for bringing us safely back to school.

After the prayers, everyone went inside their various classes, the learners that came weren't much, yeah it's was expected, it's usually like that on the first day of resumption, they usually fill up on the second week.

Some of the classes were merged, because some teachers didn't show up, so it wasn't really a serious learning day, we just did some morning drills, sang rhymes, and did some revision work.

Around 1:30 pm, we closed for the day, it was really a fun filled day, nothing too serious happened but the day went so well.

This was just how my day went today, I came back home and rested. Thanks for Reading 🌹
