Edo/Delta won the royal family kingship

Last month we had our harvest program in the church and before the program there's always numerous pre-harvest activities and along the line a change was made this year concerning the royal kingship. Over the years different people have been coming out to contest as a King, Queen, Prince, Princess, Master and Miss. This year a change was made that it will be by regions.

We have different state regions in our church which talks about the various states members of the church comes from there's one called Akwa/Cross, these are people from Akwa-ibom state and Cross River state. There's also Imo/Abia, these are people from Imo state and Abia state. For the past few months Edo/Delta has been the most popular region because of it's activeness. I'm from Delta state which officially made me member of this region or community.

Yes we are capable but I didn't expect the win.

My dad is among the set of people that brought out this community and he's currently the Acting Secretary of the community since election has been done yet. I think all communities will do their election next year as the various leaders were just appointed and they agreed to be part of those leading.

During one of the pre-harvest activities which hard to do with the different regions, money was gathered by various regions as they will be use to develop for parts of the church. A mandate was made that any region that contributes the highest will officially be the royal family for this year's harvest.

The contribution started well and ended well. On the day of announcement which was the next Sunday I guess, everyone were eager to know the winner. The results finally came out and my region Edo/Delta won. We were given a trophy and members of the region including the executives danced to the altar happily and said some few things.

The people that were selected to be the royal family came out for coronation. It was a very massive day and other regions were happy for us, they knew we deserved the win because we worked hard to ensure we are united and active because of we weren't, we won't have won. If you can remember, at the beginning of this post I said that for the past few months, my region has been the most active one. I didn't really expect us to win because I thought other regions would challenge us as they have alot of numerous members. We won and I'm grateful to God for everything.
