First of all I want to thank @mesola for giving us the occasion to grind our chops every week. This week I concluded to form a cute little cartoon symbol out of clay. I've loved making effects with my hands since nonage, so I allowed why not form a little pink character and partake the complete procedure with you all.

🌸 My DIY Craft: Pink Little Character (Clay Art)

For this creation I used the following:
Pink colored soft soil
Black and white colored clay (for eyes)
Dark pink clay (for feet and cheeks)
A simple stick (for shaping)

How to make (step by step)

First step:

First I formed a round ball of pink clay. I rolled it between the palms of my hands to loosen it out so there were no clefts. This was the main body of the character.

Second step:

Then I made two small oval pieces of the same color clay for the arms. Carefully attach them to the central round part and press lightly with your fingers to stick firmly.

Third step:

Next came the stage of making the eyes. I made two long oval pieces of black clay and placed small white dots on top of them to make the eyes sparkle. The eyes slowly fixed on the face.

Step Four:

Then I made two small round cheeks with light pink color and applied it on the face. Also made a small mouth to make the character look more cute.

Fifth Step:

Finally I made two feet from dark pink and attached them to the bottom of the body. Bend them slightly outwards to make it look like he's sitting down.

My experience

I perceived so happy while forming this craft. At first I allowed the form might not be right, but as I worked step by step, the character came clearer. This activity tutored me that with tolerance and focus we can make commodity beautiful out of simple clay.
DIY activities not only increase creativity but also provide peace of mind. I would especially advise children to take part in such activities away from mobile.
