“SLC-S29/W2 | How to Photograph Lakes / Swamps / Calm Ponds by @josepha”
In my town, we have both lakes, swamps, and calm ponds in the area. Every blessed day people are seen on the river side including the swamps because water is essential for everyday use.
The river is closer to houses and it is located in an environment that looks like dessert and due to the season that we are currently experiencing in the town it is hard for people to source water which is one of the reasons people from far away and close always visit the river to fetch water, wash clothes, and even take bathe.

There are three different rivers in the same direction which I was only able to visit two; the calm ponds and swamps. The first is the smallest which is the one that I took a selfie whereas the second is the biggest that flows to another community.
The river is not wide, so I was able to capture the sideview of the water from where it is flooding. There are grasses and a valley surrounding the water and from the valley children usually jump from the valley into the water.

There are some stones inside the water which I was also able to capture. There are not just stones but rocks that can easily be broken. The problem with the water is that it's not usually clean and the only time that one can find it clean is during the afternoon when people have gone to school and their various places of work.
