Today, I will share the location through Steem-atlas using a trip to the top of a hill called Lalmai in Comilla District of our country, along with some pictures of the hill and its beautiful views. There are several popular archaeological sites in the Kotbari area of Lalmai Hill. Apart from this, there are some popular educational institutions, including Comilla University on the hill. There is the Comilla cantonment on Lalmai hill. A Nilkunjo resort and picnic spot has been created for tourists at the top of Lalmai hill. Today I will share the story along with pictures of traveling to the hill at the resort.

The largest and most popular tourist area in our Comilla district is located in the Lalmai Hills area. Lalmai Hills are located in the southern region of the Comilla district. The hill was formed about 2.5 million years ago. The color of the soil on the hill is red. The length of the hill is eight kilometers, and the width of some parts is 4.8 kilometers. The highest height of the hill is 46 meters. The most beautiful part of the hill is the green forest. The hill is under the control of the Bangladesh Forest Department. There are different species of plants and trees on the hill.

Directions to the mountaintop resort

Nilkunjo Resort is located at the top of a hill next to Shalban Bihar, about seven kilometers from my home. From Comilla city, I first reached Courtbari Shalban Bihar by CNG car, spending only 7 Steem. Today is a weekend in our country, so tourists have already booked the resort. After reaching Shalban Bihar, I headed towards the hill to go to the resort. There are Shalbans on both sides of the hill. Shalban is the name of a hill tree. Huge Shal trees are around the hill. I walked up the hill through the narrow road of the hill.

I turned on my mobile camera and started taking pictures of the beautiful views of the mountains. The resort authorities have cut the ground and made a slope for climbing the mountain. Today I set off alone to the top of the mountain. Sometimes, some tourists set off to the top of the mountain on motorcycles. I walked for about twenty minutes to reach the top of the mountain. Before I entered the resort, I heard the sounds of a cultural program. The resort has already booked a group of tourists.

I went to the top of the mountain and took some rest because my breathing rate increased. Then I went around the resort and took some pictures of the mountain. I saw a few families living on the top of the mountain. Looking at the houses, it seems that they live permanently on the mountain. Meanwhile, the resort had booked a group of tourists, so I had to get permission to go to the top of the mountain. All the tourists staying at the resort were wearing the same color T-shirts, so everyone was able to identify me.

I went to the top of the hill and stayed for about half an hour. There are many tents on the top of the hill for tourists to stay. The tents are rented out by the resort authorities to tourists for overnight stays. From the top of the hill, green forests can be seen all around. Sometimes two or one house can be seen. Local traditional chairs and swings are provided for tourists to sit on the top of the hill and watch the natural scenery.

The resort authorities have increased the beauty by planting flowers and trees on the top of the hill. Several stages have been built to organize cultural programs. Hilly sal trees are planted on the top of the hill. The sal trees have been painted to increase their beauty. I go to the top of the hill and make a few videos. I like traveling to the mountains and the seaside.

Suddenly, my mobile camera app had a problem, so I couldn't take pictures for some time. I tried a lot from the top of the mountain and couldn't repair the mobile camera app. Later, I started taking pictures with another mobile camera app. So the pictures taken by my mobile will look a little different. I was a little disappointed due to the sudden mobile camera problem.

I slowly descended from the top of the mountain and headed home. Then I repaired my mobile camera and went to the top of the mountain in the morning to take some more pictures and videos. I saw a very beautiful view when the sun rose in the morning. The tourists who came from far away stayed at the resort. Since it was close to my home, I stayed at home for the night.

Since my home is in Comilla city, I traveled to the mountains for two days. My pictures are from the two-day trip to the mountains. I got the opportunity to travel to the mountains for two days for the engagement challenge. On my way back, I went to the top of the mountain and took a selfie.
