The Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Bridge is located in the city of Cagua, Sucre municipality, Aragua state, over a section of the Aragua River. It was inaugurated in April 2024 and is named after the independence hero. Its purpose is to facilitate traffic flow, as this area is very busy.
This bridge is designed with beams and reinforced concrete so that it can support heavy loads. As it connects to the industrial area, it has defences on both sides to protect those who travel through the area, especially in winter. It has two lanes and a pavement for pedestrians. Local residents know it as the Cagua Bridge.
Taking into account @walictd's guidance on symmetry and perspective, I made an effort to have a clean approach, trying to highlight the cables and structure by finding the perfect angle. Here in my country, this is a bit awkward due to the situation.
Cagua is a city that is always on the move, especially in that area. It was a challenge to take these photographs, as the time of day had a significant influence. It was approximately 11 o'clock in the morning and the sun was quite strong. Taking the photo from the street, the bridge looks flat.
The video I took is only 10 seconds long, showing a panoramic view of the bridge. It's not actually that big, and I'm not very skilled at taking videos. Taking photos here is a bit complicated because people look at you as if you were spying on them, ha ha ha. You can feel their stares. It's because of the political situation that people see spies everywhere.
Hola yahnel, es un puente muy peculiar pero importante en la zona. Saludos
