My Entry for the Vos-25 Grand Finale

It feels wonderful to be heard, to feel your spirit soar and your hearts afloat, not with strong wine, but with the power of music!

Pheew! It's been a quite the journey, my fellow steemians it's me again @bee5 and I'm here to thank you for all the support you've shown me from the first stage to the last stage, it really has been an amazing time with all of you in this competition, the love you've shown me is massive and I appreciate you for that, it's really a thing of joy for me to share my stories, hopes and encouragement with my voice through the songs I sing, here's me saying there's more to come, stay tuned.

Describe your journey in the voice of Steemit Singing Competition and tell us what you've benefited from the show.

My journey has been wonderful,not entirely easy, there was the battle stage and then the bilingual stage, these stages were not easy for me, but I'm glad I showed up and I made you smile, the voice of steemit made me close to so many unique individuals on this platform with beautiful voices and I'm grateful for that, I also learned a lot from everything, we learn as we interact don't we? And for this I am grateful for this competition, special thanks goes to @bossj23 for this opportunity, he's such and amazing young man.

How do you feel being a finalist on this show?

The joy in my heart is not enough to describe this moment, I look back to when I started and I smile, because it really has been amazing, if you've ever made it to the finals of any competition you'd understand the feeling, there's also the anxiety of "did I do well? Will I be picked? Will I win? Did they find my performance satisfying?" All these are part of the journey, but overall I am happy.

Do you earn it or it's by God's grace?

Oh! It's definitely by God's grace, I wouldn't have come this far, if it hasn't been for God, there were so many great and gifted individuals from the start, I was so scared and anxious, if you haven't listened to everyone, please do so because everybody did great, the singing was on another level, but I came this far because of God and for this I am grateful.

Tell us about the song you choose and how you sang it.

For my final performance, I chose to do 'Rise up' by Andrea Day, my favourite part is the first verse which says "you're broken down and tired, of living life on a merry go round, and you can't find that fighter, but I see it you so we're gonna work it out and move mountains" it's a powerful song of hope and encouragement, to be honest, I kind of felt down myself,but after I recorded this song, my spirits were lifted, I smiled more knowing there are people who can walk with me and help me through situations, I'll definitely rise up and I'll do it a thousand times again, how about you?

Are you going to be among the winners? What convinces you?

Honestly, I do hope I get to be among the winners, it would be a privilege, my vocal dexterity and emotions while singing this song is what I believe in, in taking me up there and of course you my lovely friends, this competition wouldn't have been a competition without you guys, you all are the best and so it's up to you to push me to the top, it's up to you to help me rise up, do have a lovely time while listening.
